Transparent sur Amazon. Alors, environ Peter Pan en direct ! Je plaisante, nous et le reste du monde avons suffisamment disséqué les dents brillantes d'Allison Williams pour une journée. Il s'avère, étonnamment, qu'il y a d'autres choses à la télévision qu'un garçon perma-pubère volant, et une tonne d'entre eux viennent d'être nominés pour leur écriture exceptionnelle.
La Writers Guild of America a récemment publié ses nominations pour les WGA Awards, et la partie télévisée contient beaucoup de HBO. La chaîne premium en titre est repartie avec 16 nominations, avec Jeu des trônes et Vrai détective assis dans la meilleure catégorie dramatique, et nouveau venu Silicon Valley gagnant un clin d'œil pour la meilleure comédie.
A noter également, le souvent brillant d'Amazon Transparent , qui a non seulement reçu trois nominations différentes, mais marque la toute première apparition d'une émission Amazon aux WGA Awards. Transparent est en lice pour la meilleure comédie, la meilleure comédie épisodique et la meilleure nouvelle série (ainsi que la plus grande/pire émission de l'histoire L'affaire .) Le concours de streaming d'Amazon Netflix a décroché deux nominations pour Orange est le nouveau noir.
Remarquables par leur absence dans aucune catégorie, Showtime Patrie et FX Fargo . Eh bien, des biscuits durs pour Patrie fans, mais FX Networks a publié une déclaration expliquant le manque de Fargo .
Lorsque les nominations aux WGA Awards ont été annoncées ce matin, plusieurs organes de presse ont commenté l'omission notable de la mini-série primée de FX Fargo. Le réseau a initialement soumis Fargo dans la catégorie longue en se basant sur le fait que les 10 scripts d'une heure - tous écrits par Noah Hawley - racontent une seule histoire fermée et donc Fargo est une mini-série. La WGA ne reconnaît pas Fargo comme une mini-série parce que Noah Hawley a reçu un crédit «Créé pour la télévision par» et a déclaré que Fargo ne pouvait être considéré que dans la catégorie des séries dramatiques. Fargo a remporté l'Emmy Award cette année pour la mini-série exceptionnelle. Il a été soumis sous forme de mini-série pour les Golden Globe Awards de cette année. Étant donné que Fargo n'est pas en fait une série dramatique, et qu'il s'agit en fait d'une mini-série, FX a pris la décision de ne pas soumettre Noah Hawley et ses brillants scripts aux WGA Awards.
